The project aims to visually represent the complexities and limitations of text-based communication, highlighting how emotions are often lost or misinterpreted in the digital realm, while also showcasing the potential for visual elements to enhance understanding.
We began by researching the association between colors and emotions, creating a list based on the valence and intensity of emotions. After brainstorming, we chose text as the primary tool for emotional recognition, then developed code to represent emotions with colored circles, adjusting opacity to indicate intensity. We enabled converstaion through the communication of two computers.
