Artist StatementSeba Alabdullatif’s practice explores time as something experienced rather than simply measured. She uses architectural drawing methods—including solid and dashed lines, layering, repetition, and color—to document movement and communicate how an experience unfolds.

Rather than representing a single static moment, she creates drawings and systems that hold multiple stages of an experience at once. Her work considers how time passes, how differently it can be perceived, and how systems of measurement can be interpreted or manipulated. Through this process, she seeks to make movement, change, and duration visible, allowing an experience to be read across time.
